Soh food
Inspired by Chinese congee rice dishes, asian vegatable risotto. Or to be politically incorrect, Lee-Soh-Toh. (I so bad.) Baby bok choy, spring onions, oyster mushrooms, and a smattering of gouda cheese for smokiness.
Microwave, sitting in it's new home. Snug as a bug in a rug. The drawers on the side have less than 1/16th inch clearance to the handle of the microwave. Phew....
Dangling lights, pretty pretty art glass.
If it falls, shatter shatter pieces.
Then I trip, bloody bloody fat ass.
Turn to food, little little meeses.
Pool light on. Night time swimming.
Lights so bright, might need dimming.
Can't see trees. Limbs need trimming.
Making food. Not so slimming.
Curtains hide washer and dryer. A direct view of laundry does not make for a relaxing soak in the tub. Though, it's been over 3 years, and I've still never sat in this tub yet. I guess it's been long enough that I should clean the tub huh.

Clams and bananas
Acres and acres of countertop. They replaced quartz on the elevated section because it was an eight of an inch off.
Eight months since the stove arrived to installation. Finally funtional tonight. That's got to be some sort of record. Lots of new buttons to push. My buttons have been pushed so many times by now that they're stuck in the on position.
Pop up venting. Barely better than no ventilation at all. But it looks cool, and that's all that matters.
Spaghetti ala stuff in the freezer. Quite tasty for stuff thrown together willy nilly. Spinach spaghetti, clam sauce, peas, and artichokes.
Banana bread. They BEST banana bread crust ever! Convection baby!

Hamster wheels
Holes. Holes. Holes. Why are we still opening up holes in the wall at this stage?
Fan-rific. Ugly blotch on the wall. This is where the hamster runs around to power the vent.

Popemobiles and turning tricks
Skinny chicken legs. This is the future of Davy's body shape. Large middle, Mr. Potatohead arms and legs. This is the future.
The stove in the middle of the room, an homage to ancient firepit cooking rites. Where people gather around the heat source and roast their meats while they do-si-do round and round.
Ding dong! Just in time of Halloween. Not that I get all that many trick or treaters. They avoid my house for some reason.
Permanent power. Woo hoo. No more dangly wires outside. I really like the bubble cover over the outlet. It reminds me of the popemobile.

New journeys
My car needs new converters catalytic
I might have to hoof it, peripatetic
So sad it's now time,
A line here to rhyme
Out with the old, in with the new
I got the black, didn't have blue

Marilyn Monroe
The living room vomited. I had to dust every single book individually. Went through an entire box of swiffer.
Speakers mounted. No more wires strung accross the ceiling with blue tape. Though I seriously doubt any of the shows on the food channel ever take advantage of surround sound.
AC unit strategically located underneath the outside staircase. I'm not going to warn women in skirts that they will have an uplifting experience.
