Puzzling food
Braised unjions. Hidden Mickey as an unwanted bonus. I started out with the thought of recreating the slow cooked onion dish we had at Osteria Via Stato. But soon after I sliced these onions, I went off on my own tangent and did something completely different. Super short attention span.
Farmer Davy phase begins again with the return of the mini-greenhouse. I have a sudden urge to go buy some overalls and chew on a stalk of hay. I planted the seeds randomly in the trays, so I'm not going to be able to tell what is what. It'll be like a gardening version of sudoku puzzles.
Late night snack. Fried egg sandwiches with marinara sauce on olive oil grilled rosemary ciabatta. Super messy, but gooey good.
Recharged from my midnight snack, I started labeling mystery canisters in the kitchen. I think I got everything right. I like puzzles. If I am slightly off labeling the assorted white powdery stuff, the next batch of chocolate chip cookies may taste vaguely like tortillas. I was a bit hyperactive after the sandwiches.
And just in case my short term memory gets even worse, I labeled the labeler too.
