Sour cheese

Cheesy sausage bake. So not worth making. I don't know what Nancy sees in this recipe. I give it a "Meh." The large quantity of this means I will be eating "Meh" all week. And everytime I go "Meh" I shall blame Nancy for steering me wrong to the Cheesy sausage bake. I will erase this recipe from the Treo pronto!

Fruit head

Too tired and lazy to make a 3 course dinner tonight. So the old standby of anchovy tomato pasta hits the spot. For some reason, cooking 20 anchovy filets with a handful of cherry tomatoes makes the sauce mellow and not fishy at all. By the time the pasta is al dente, the sauce is done. Combine and eat. 15 minutes of cooking at the most.



At the Marina Farms fruit stand near the client office, I found mangos the size of Preston's head. These are huge mutant dog head sized mangos. $2.99 each. This one was so delicious, I ate the whole thing. And then 15 minutes later, I suffer the discomfort of a distended tummy. Ugh. I tend to overdo these things.

Plum crazy

Bunch of friends from the past have invited themselves over for a pot lucky dealio party. I should start demanding a cover charge for these things. Or at least get some weeds pulled from the yard.



Evil Hahn with a knife. We're keeping our distance from her, as she has been to known to think Bobbetty thoughts.



The spread. A little of this. A little of that. Nothing matchy matchy. Everybody likes a little of something here or there.



I made a plum crisp. Everybody likes plum crisps.

Edumacated

I found some leftover pesto sauce in the freezer. If you dig deep enough, you'll find treasure.



And leftover tomato pizza.



I found an old school desk across the street from my mechanic. I got an oil change and an education.

Puff tarts

The green tomatos are ripe this week. I need to plant more green tomatos next year so I can make green tomato sauce.



Tomato tart. I'm starting to realize that I'm not a big fan of puff pastry. And tomatos probably too juicy to be placed on top as is.



Another "Meh" tart. But at least there's more room in the freezer for sauce.

Unproductive

Moon and stars watermelon. It's pretty, but not all that delicious compared to normal industrial watermelon. Not all heirloom varieties of crops are tastier.



I found a way to watch the PandaCam on the big tv. Productivity will now be zero.
