Extended release caffeine

Most gorgeous purple kohlrabi harvest this morning. And baby purple carrots. I have a purple section in the garden. No purple tomatos yet.

Baby daikon radishes. I'm going to pickle them.

And I planted a coffee arabica plant in the shady area behind the cherimoya tree. I found it in the houseplant section of the hardware store. If the coffee plant gets perfect conditions, in 5 years it will produce enough berries for a pound of coffee. Now, the odds of providing perfect conditions to this coffee plant is highly unlikely, and most definitely will cost more than that tub of $4.99 coffee at Trader Joe's. Not including drying and roasting the beans, and the initial $6.99 price of the plant to begin with. But I am going to try and it will be the most perfect cup of coffee ever.
