The bonus of roasting a whole chicken is the leftovers. Despite my ability to consume massive quantities, I almost always have leftover roast chicken because I don't like chicken breast meat. The blandest most tasteless part of the chicken. It's the Toyota Camry of chicken bits. You might as well not eat a chicken at that point. But since nothing goes to waste, chicken breast gets zinged up with pesto and gnocci.
