Throat still a bit scratchy. This bug going around the office isn't going away. Took it slightly easier on the landscaping this weekend, seemed to still end up sore and tired though. There were NO trick or treaters. Lower volume overall this year, but it doesn't help that the electricity to the front of the house is shut off. So it really is the haunted house on the street. All the kids skipped me. Not that I mind this year. I'd probably give them a cold.
The work order for the concrete.
The wooden formwork have been mostly removed. It looks like a cake to me. But that may be because I havn't eaten a non-microwaved meal in ages. Though thanks to wonderful friends, I've had a few home cooked meals here and there for sanity. You can't tell from the picture, but the concrete is drying at different rates. The thinner parts are ligher. I hope this doesn't weaken it structurally.
The Waldorf School 3rd graders marked their territory. I'm hoping this isn't an early sign for gang activity.
The trap that LA County set up in my orange tree. It's supposed to attract and keep exotic species. I don't think it's working, because I havn't gotten any dates since the trap's been set.
No changes happening from the front. It only feels like the entire house is being torn up. I have to keep telling myself that.
