Ordered the mosaic glass tile for the bathroom today. They look like computer pixels. 6 cases worth. Each case covers approximately 11 square feet. No picture yet, because they come from Italy via New Jersey. And ran around town getting price quotes for toilets. Special order item for that too. Sigh. Sadly, I now know way too much about state of the art toilet technology. Yet another useless bit of information cluttering up my brain. No picture of the toilet. Because I haven't decided which one to order yet.
Though, I was so excited to see how the Jiffy Lube was set up. They don't raise the cars up on lifts, instead there is a basement where people run around and work with the undercarriage of the cars. Every once in a while, a head will pop up like a groundhog. They took extra time for my car because they couldn't figure out why silly German engineers put a plastic cover for the underside of the engine. No pictures of this too. Ha.
But I have pictures of more walls. Beautiful beautiful walls.
The Simpson Strong Wall System. Pre-fab shear walls, prevent buildings from twisting in an earthquake. I'm hoping the Simpson Strong Wall is more Jessica and less Ashley.
Doorway. Used for taking out trash.
Barn doors will go here.
Temporary walls coming down inside.
Sadly, not all is good news. Here is a casualty of the walls. Poor George. Smooshed his phone.
